Community Noticeboard

Community Noticeboard

Community involvement makes good business sense. We help communities continue to be vibrant places to live and we give our members and employees a better place to go about their day-to-day life. Our involvement is not only financial, we also offer our business expertise and the time of our staff.

Community Noticeboard

Our community program covers a wide variety of areas. Our aim is to spread our investment to help projects that affect many people. We don't just invest in Newbury, although this is the area where most of our members live and work. We endeavour to make a difference in every town and city we operate in.

Social responsibility is at the core of our business. As a local organisation, we have a responsibility towards our community and its economy. In addition to our financial contribution, members of staff are involved with local organisations, sports and social clubs.

We also have a strong partnership with Newbury Volunteer Bureau and with them have set up a Staff Volunteering Service, where each member of staff is given the opportunity to make a difference by volunteering for a good cause in their local area.

We encourage our members to tell us of organisations that they think are worthy recipients of our financial or 'hands-on' involvement. We will consider suggestions with an open mind and come to a reasoned decision. If you would like to make a suggestion please pop into or call your local branch. Otherwise email us at enquiries@newbury.co.uk.
