Newbury Building Society is a 170-year-old mutual building society based in
Berkshire, owned by its members rather than shareholders. It offers savings
accounts and mortgages across ten branches in Berkshire, Hampshire and
Oxfordshire, with around 190 staff.  
  
It is particularly well known for its flexible, tailored approach to mortgage
lending - specialist areas include self-builds, ex-pat mortgages, converted
properties, shared ownership, and limited company buy-to-let.
