Community Support Scheme FAQs

We consider applications in a number of different categories, including those that:

• Promote and encourage participation in sports.

• Promote and encourage participation in the arts.

• Support education and development.

• Benefit the environment or are focused on sustainability, conservation, or heritage.

• Support vulnerable people.

The scheme does not award grants to individuals, political or religious groups.

Typical grants range between £100 and £500.

We mainly support groups and organisations that support residents in and around our branch towns:

• Abingdon

• Alton

• Andover

• Basingstoke

• Didcot

• Hungerford

• Newbury

• Thatcham

• Winchester

• Wokingham

We will consider two applications in a calendar year from the same organisation. Organisations who are successful in applying for funding cannot apply again until the following calendar year.
