Ana Clarke, a Customer Service Adviser in our Winchester branch, has raised an amazing £1,000 for Trinity Winchester with an exhilarating sky dive.
Ana decided she wanted to raise money for the homelessness charity, who are the chosen charity partner of our Winchester branch, after visiting for a volunteering day through work.
Winchester, despite its historic charm and affluence, has pockets of severe deprivation and people who struggle with poverty, homelessness, and a lack of access to essential services. After a recent volunteering day at Trinity, I heard some stories from people who rely on the service and wanted to help make a difference. I did something I’d never done before in the form of a 10,000ft skydive on 28 July 2024. What an experience – I loved every single moment!
Trinity Winchester (registered charity no. 1074604) provides a safe place where people affected by homelessness and social deprivation can maximise their chances in life. They support people in various ways, including counselling, hot meals, outreach, and learning and training programmes to help people back employment.
