Volunteering

Does your organisation need a helping hand?

Volunteering is one of the many ways in which we live our mutual values.

All of our employees get two days of paid volunteering leave a year, to use on projects and causes they're passionate about. Whether as a team or an individual, we wholeheartedly encourage volunteering and all of the positive benefits that it brings not only to our communities, but our day-to-day working lives.

What have our teams been up to on recent volunteer days?

  • We built tortoise houses, paintied, tidied and sorted donations at The National Animal Welfare Trust near Hungerford.

  • We cleared invasive plants and built bug hotels with Beggarwood and Old Down Volunteer Group in Basingstoke.

  • We helped to improve and create a range of safe and calming gardens and outdoor spaces for Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice near Wokingham, Brendoncare Foundation in Alton, Newbury and District Cancer Care in Thatcham, and Priors Court School in Hermitage.

  • We freshened up the paintwork and repaired go-karts at Swings & Smiles in Thatcham.

  • We prepared lunch for vulnerable and homeless people at Trinity Winchester, and also helped out at Christmas!
