Newbury Building Society belongs to its members. That’s why it’s only right we listen to what our members have to say in how the Society operates.
Our Member Forum provides our members with the opportunity to help shape our products, services, the effectiveness of our communications and to help us make improvements.
It's an exciting time to be part of our Member Forum as we have commenced several developments which will see our technology, branches and customer offerings updated and enhanced. As a forum member, you will play a key part in helping to shape the future of the Society by providing feedback, ideas or concerns regarding our products, initiatives, and services.
We welcome both savings and mortgage members, whether you are a first-time customer of ours, or have been a member for many years. We’d like to hear from members who use our branches and/or our online services and those who live local to a branch or elsewhere in the UK.
You can volunteer to become a member of the forum by answering some questions here. You will need to be a current mortgage or savings member, be aged 18 or over and have a current email address.
You’ll be invited to complete up to three surveys a year on a variety of subjects. This should take no more than one hour of your time over the year. As a token of our appreciation for your time and help we will donate £1 per completed survey, which will be shared between our branch charity partners on an annual basis.
We might ask you to take part in research, but only if it’s relevant to you, and this could be undertaken by email, telephone, or video call.
You’ll receive two updates a year about the difference your feedback is making and about our current developments and research.
You will also be invited to attend an informal discussion meeting, once a year, with key stakeholders from the Society including the Executive Directors, Director of Customer Service, and Director of Proposition and Distribution.
A whole range of subjects, including our product literature, our branch and online services, our environmental activities and products and our support of and involvement in community initiatives.
To join our Member Forum we will ask you to answer a few questions about yourself so we can ensure the surveys and research we ask you to take part in are relevant to you and your interests.
