IT First-Line Support Technician
Location: head office, Newbury
Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8.30am - 12.30pm
Starting salary: £26,928
Target salary: £29,920
Interviews: We aim to interview successfull applicants within 1 week. Interviews will comprise a 90 minute competency-based process held in our head office based in Newbury. Feedback provided regardless of outcome. We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point.

What you will be doing?

Respond to requests made through the Service Desk and over the phone by user.

Perform user administration tasks such as the setup of new starters and removing access from leavers.

Support the businesses IT requirements.
Essential skills and experience:

Ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills to effectively meet deadlines and adapt to change.

Experience of working with internal and/or external customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.

Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Enthusiasm to work in IT and develop a career in IT support.

Competent in the use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365.

Driving licence.
Desirable skills and experience:
-
Experience as a First-Line IT Support Analyst.

Experience with active directory user management.
-
Knowledge of IT and cyber security principles.

Knowledge of Windows operating system deployment.
-
Experience of working within a regulated environment financial services environment.
