Mortgage Adviser (12 month FTC)
Location: This is a hybrid role, there will be flexibility required to travel throughout our branch network as required.
Hours: 35 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday working required, 9.00am - 12.00pm (paid as overtime).
Starting salary: £30,921
Target salary: £34,357
Interviews: 90 minute competency-based interview held in our head office in Newbury. We aim to interview successful applicants within 1 week. Feedback will be provided regardless of the outcome. We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Sales Team as a Mortgage Adviser, based on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Working alongside a skilled and experienced team, the overall purpose of the role is to provide compliant mortgage advice to new and existing customers to help the business achieve goals set out in the corporate plan.
The ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new mortgage customers is key, taking care to really listen and provide the best possible options for their personal circumstances.
Following internal and external policy and guidelines is paramount, to comply with our duty of care and to minimise risk. Guidance, learning and support will be via the Mortgage Advice Manager and team, along with the Head of Direct Sales.
Essential skills and experience:

CeMap qualification.

Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven experience of working with internal and/or external, customers to ensure the highest quality service experience.

Competent in the use of Microsoft packages - Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365.
Desirable skills and experience:

Current or previous competent Mortgage Adviser status.
