Risk Administrator

Location: Head office, Newbury.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.

Starting salary: £23,393.

Target salary: £24,624.60.

Interviews: We aim to interview successful applicants within 1 week. Interviews will comprise a 60 minute competency-based process in our Newbury head office. Feedback will be provided regardless of outcome. We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any point. 

Interview dates: Week commencing 21st April 2025.

If so, we have a great opportunity for you, within our small and friendly Risk Team. 

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Risk Officers, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Monitoring and assessing risk events.

  • Assisting with preparing monthly and quarterly papers.

  • Dealing with Risk mailbox enquiries.

  • Assisting with ensuring all actions are completed within the set target dates.    

Essential skills and experience:

  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to analyse potentially conflicting, complex data.

  • Enthusiastic learner, with focus on personal development.

Desirable skills and experience: 

  • Previous experience in an administrative role. 

  • Professional experience working within the regulated financial services sector in a customer facing or compliance role.

  • Basic understanding of risk management and compliance concepts.
