"I joined NBS in August 2022. I come from a different kind of retail background and was very surprised how different and the personal approach the Society takes with their teams.
There are lots of great learning opportunities for personal development as well as charity work we can do to give back to our communities. While always having full support from my colleagues, both across the area and the teams at head office.
I am a customer service advisor at our Thatcham branch. Although we are a busy branch and this can at times make the role quite challenging, no two days are ever the same. My role can consist of meeting and greeting our customers on the desk to holding one-to-one savings appointments and welcoming new members to our Society.
It’s truly been a very friendly, warm, welcoming and life-changing experience to date, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!"
