Following the Bank of England Base Rate decrease of 0.25%, to 5.00% on 1 August 2024, we have reviewed the market conditions and our responsibility to balance the needs of both saving and borrowing members.

Savers

Our savings interest rates decreased by 0.25% across our variable product account range on 12 September 2024. For the full list of new savings rates on open accounts and those closed to new business, click here.

If we hold a valid email address, we emailed you to advise you of the changes to savings accounts. If you have not provided us your email address previously, or you would like to update it, please fill in this form.

If we do not hold a valid email address, we would have written to you.

To make the most of your savings, you might benefit from a review with a savings adviser. To arrange a review, please contact your local branch or book an appointment online.

Borrowers

Variable and discount mortgages – Our Standard Variable Rate (SVR) decreased by the full 0.25% to 6.75%, on 5 September 2024.

If you are coming to the end of your mortgage deal in the coming months, or you are currently on our SVR and wish to discuss a product switch, please book an appointment with one of our mortgage advisers.

Fixed rate mortgages - if you're on a fixed rate mortgage, nothing will change – you don't need to do anything. Your interest rate and monthly payments stay the same until the end of your fixed deal.

Mortgage payment concerns

If you are concerned about making your mortgage payments (and making a rental payment if you have a shared ownership home) it is important to contact us as soon as you can, we will do all we can to help you.

Please contact our Mortgage Payment Support Team by email or by calling 01635 555588 at the earliest opportunity to discuss your situation, or if you prefer, you can make an enquiry using our live chat service.
