We are pleased to welcome Michael Goddard to our Executive Team as Chief Risk Officer, where he will be responsible for our risk management, profile, and culture.
Michael joins us from Deloitte, where for more than twenty years he led on the delivery of internal and external audit. He brings extensive risk management expertise to the Society, as well as experience as a consultant, having offered advisory services to banks and building societys on a variety of topics.
I’m excited to be joining the Society and contributing to its ongoing success. Working with building societies has been a core part of my career to date and I was particularly attracted by the dual customer and employee focus of Newbury Building Society, as well as its contribution to communities where I have a family connection.
