Our 168th Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place at Newbury Racecourse on Thursday 20 February 2025, with 103 members in attendance.
"Enjoyed it and will come back again. I am a proud member of this Building Society where we are treated as an individual and not a number...keep it up."
Through voting, members could decide who should remain on the Society's Board of Directors as well as have their say on a number of other matters.
For every vote cast, the Society donates between 15p (paper votes) and 50p (online and in-person votes) to its ten charity partners. This year £1,285 was raised and will be split equally between the charities.

The AGM is a brilliant chance to hear about what's going on at the Society, with presentations from members of the Board and opportunities to ask questions and give feedback.
The event was very well organised and it was good that the executives and directors were so readily available, approachable and quite happy to sit and chat to the members.
This year, Marketing Team colleagues also interviewed charities Swings and Smiles, Five a Day Market Garden, and The Fairclose Centre, giving members the chance learn about how the Society lives its mutual values, reinvesting time, funds, and energy into supporting local communities.
