Background and experience

I joined the Society in November 2022 after eight years at Nationwide Building Society in various roles. Over my career I’ve had the opportunity to work in Internal Audit and more recently within Financial Planning and Treasury roles. 

Role and responsibilities

I lead Newbury’s Treasury function, which is responsible for ensuring the Society holds the right type and amount of liquid assets and is protected from the impact of changes in the wider market and in interest rates. We are also responsible for providing the right information and analysis to make strategic decisions on products and pricing.
