Background and experience

Having joined Newbury Building Society in 2010 as PA to the Executive with a background in recruitment administration, I was supported by the Society in achieving the CIPD Certificate in HR Practice and became an HR Adviser in early 2014. I am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Role and responsibilities

In my role I am able to support our business while helping people make the most of themselves during their time at work. My role is varied and ranges from ensuring we meet regulatory standards to advising someone on how they might choose to approach a difficult situation. I relish the challenges each day may bring and find satisfaction from monitoring how changes we have implemented positively impact our people. I am known in our department for exploring what tricks Excel can offer to help our insight and understanding!
