Background and experience
I joined Newbury Building Society in 2012 as a trainee Mortgage Adviser. Since then, I have undertaken various mortgage roles within the Society, originally with Direct Mortgage Sales, and then I moved to the Intermediary Sales team, since it’s set up in March 2016 as a Business Development Manager before moving to my current role.
I like working at the Newbury as we look at every mortgage enquiry on its own merits, this means every enquiry and every day is different, which I like, as I always enjoy new challenges. I also like working at the Society as they provide the opportunities to enable career progression.
Role and responsibilities
I am responsible for managing the Intermediary Helpdesk and the business development in the RG and SN postcodes.
