Background and experience
I joined Newbury Building Society in 2017, having previously worked as a PA for mortgage and protection advisors for three years.
No two days on the helpdesk are the same due to the manual approach we take to assessing new enquiries and keeping up with trends in the market. This is one of the reasons I enjoy working within the Intermediary department and its busy environment.
Role and responsibilities
I discuss new business enquiries with brokers to see if Newbury can hopefully lend to their clients as well as identifying new relationship opportunities for the BDMs. As a Senior Sales Adviser I have enhanced responsibilities with the day to day running of the helpdesk.
